{ She never came home. }

She never came home – not that night, nor the next; and now weeks have passed and here I am, still waiting. She never came home, and sometimes I wonder if somehow it was my fault, that maybe I could have stopped her. Maybe I could have said something, anything, to let her know how much I loved her. How much I still love her – but how can I tell her something now? She’s gone. She never came home – and a piece of me left with her that night, when she disappeared. I will never get that piece back, but I fill it with everything I can: music, art, friends and family. I shove it all into that hole in my heart

Worlds Within

The bed awaited each morning with joy, For we let spring spill on the sheets— Just a tad whenever we woke up. Ours weren't playdates of note, Rather daffodils unencumbered with The expectations of prickless beauty. As the cradle looked in approval, Our happy chuckles gave it purpose, Then we bloomed, unbothered and true. We appear quiet in the vastness without— but our content faces speak volumes. For the bed, the covers, and the air around shelter all core memories in this room of ours.

Arli the Dragon's Beauty School Application

Dear Head of the Fairy Beauty School, My name is Arli, and I am a dragon. I am writing this application with great enthusiasm and a burning desire to become a part of your esteemed beauty school, despite being well aware that it primarily admits fairies. As a dragon, I understand that I am different from the typical candidates you receive, but I believe my unique perspective and passion for beauty can contribute to a more inclusive and diverse learning environment. Throughout history, dragons have often been portrayed as fierce and powerful creatures, feared by many. But beneath my scales and fiery breath, beats a heart that longs to explore the artistry and magic of beauty. I have spent countless hours observing fairies and other magical beings, admiring their elegance, creativity, and ability to enhance the world around them. I wish to learn from the best and hone my skills, not only for my personal growth but also to challenge the stereotypes associated with dragons. I am deeply

Never Investigate Alone

“I know something is strange around here. I just know it.” Naomi muttered. She had been following a lead... well more like a hunch. For several hours, Naomi and the rest her group had been investigating a suspicious activity relating to a crime syndicate around the beach. But so far in their search there was nothing out of the ordinary, and the beautiful sun had began to set, so Detective Marisa had decided to call it a day and carry on the investigation tomorrow. But despite her superior officer's orders, Naomi came back to the beach on her own a hour later. So here she was, on her own at the beach, searching for anything that could lead to a crime syndicate. Her bright magenta eyes darting left and right as she quietly walk to the far end of beach. Naomi wore her navy blue one-piece swimsuit with white patterns that had a police badge, suggesting that she was a police officer, though a rookie cop who had recently passed selection for the underwater police unit. “Hm?” Naomi's

Golden Glow

In sun-kissed hues, a radiant sight, Tan skin gleams with golden light. Warmth infused in every cell, A symphony of shades that compel. While pale is praised for its ethereal gleam, Tan skin, too, holds a radiant esteem. Its golden hues, a testament to light, A tapestry that dances in daylight. Bronzed canvas, a masterpiece rare, A testament to sun's affair. Like amber kissed by nature's fire, A palette of warmth, a sunlit desire. Where moonlight bathes in silver's pure embrace, The sun's warm touch adorns tan skin's embrace. No less enchanting, with a golden sheen, It paints a portrait, vibrant and serene. In the morning's first light, as dawn's fingers gently trace, Across the horizon, the sun reveals its grace. And so, too, does tan skin, bathed in golden hue, A masterpiece painted in shades of amber and true. Like honeyed caramel, smooth and sweet to taste, Tan skin exudes a richness, a flavor interlaced. A blend of earth and sunshine, a fusion of delight, A testament to the

Code Geass Liar's Dice: Costs Yet Counted

Disclaimer: We do not own Code Geass or any of the characters used in our story, with everything belonging to Sunrise other than characters, plots and lore that are of our own creation. A/N: Hi everyone, after what has been an eternity, our prequel fic for Code Geass, Liar's Dice is finally here with its first chapter of what will be an exploration of the mid-90's in the CG universe. With a mix of familiar and new characters that aims to explore the CG world by digging into many parts which myself, and my Writing Partner Makarov, had been wanting to do for a while now. We both hope you will enjoy our take, ideas and more on the series that means a lot to us. I want to thank everyone who has been following me for all these years from back when I was working on my side fic for Code Geass: Colourless Memories written by NSBleach00 that got me into fanfic writing in the first place. Of which serves as an inspiration for some of the plots and characters in Liar's Dice. To my aborted

Straightforward Ingenuous

I’m lost in the world in my head, don’t think I’ll ever go back. Don’t wanna stay in the cruel “real world”. I’d rather have my dreams. Don’t ask me to be a real person. Don’t tell me to be like everyone else. I haven’t found my true name yet, but when I do…. I’m going to be the one and only me, the one I always wished for- who sees the things I seek. I’m gonna make my dreams come true. I’m gonna do things my way. Of course you can watch if you’d like, but make sure to heed what I say: I don’t wanna be part of the real world- I’d rather live

Six Aquatic Tales: Kimi's Story Part 4

Kimi and Saiji arrived at the facility an hour ago, taking a break from their dive in the mystic cave. Though it's not really a military facility, it's technically a resort that they made it their secondary home where they hang out with their friends. Their friend, Nikku, called it the facility for reasons unknown. Others call it the hangout. The facility had many pools, 100 meter diving area, and a large underwater maze. Some pools have air bubbles for beginner swimmers. Kimi was at the living quarters, sitting on a couch using a portable hair dryer to dry her long jet black hair. She recently had a shower, her clothes and swimsuit were in a wash, so now she was wearing her casual clothing. A black and turquoise short sleeve hoodie with a turquoise undershirt with black stripes, and blue jeans. Her pale green socks where tucked in her grass-green converse. They were on the floor by the couch, leaving her barefoot. Her friend, Saiji was in the garage, probably studying the the
